Master painters paired it most often with Drab dark brown (#4A412A), Metallic Sunburst (#9C7C38), and Smoky black (#100C08). The combination forms a bleached, polar chord, built on a complementary hue split, leans on warm companions to lift a cool source color, with a sharp light/dark contrast that lets the darker companions read as depth.
